World of Warcraft is one of the few remaining games that maintain a precarious balance between commercialism and game quality. Yes Blizzard enhances the game specifically with the goal of earning money. However, they do this by ensuring that the game's lore makes sense, the playing field is even, game designs are top notch, and the MMO's activity warrant the name of being a "massively multiplayer online experience."
